Hey, I’m Sarah
I am a devoted wife, and wild mother of two. I have been a photographer for 15 years. The past 5 years have sent me on a journey of re-wilding my life and discovering how it is I am meant to serve the world. Motherhood, self exploration, and radicle responsibility continue to shape me as a photographer and community leader. My offerings have expanded beyond photography to include women’s circles, birth coaching, and one on one work.
My Philosophy
Individualized and Authentic Photography
When you look at your pictures…
I want you to relive that perfect day, or remember how soft your baby’s cheeks felt, or the butterflies in your stomach when you said “YES!!!” to your fiancé. I want you to feel ALL of those emotions come rushing back, in a really big way!
The photos we value the most, are the ones of real moments.
When it comes to weddings…
You won't have to try and explain to your future children the way your husband looked at you on your wedding day. Because, you will have the pictures to show them. ... Not how you both smiled at a camera, but how you looked at one another as you embraced, danced, and lived totally in the moment together.
Will I help guide you? YES! Will I tell you to turn slightly, so the light hits you just right? Sure! But will I stop you in the middle of a moment to say, “Look over here! Smile!”… Umm, ew. Definitely not!!
It’s YOUR day, not my photoshoot! I will be there to record the laughter, the outtakes, and those kisses that you try to sneak when you think no one is looking.
My Method
Natural light photography, customized to fit your vision and your vibe.
No props or pretending! What does that mean?
Imagine you are sitting on a stool with bright studio lights in your face. Do you feel sexy, comfortable? Do you feel like yourself? Probably not.
Now imagine you are wearing your favorite shirt, sitting on your couch, with your love’s arm around you… Maybe with your dog by your feet, or a drink in hand. How do you feel? …. THIS is the feeling I am after.
I keep the equipment at a minimum, focus on natural light, and real life moments.
What I ask of you…
I ask you to trust me, to flow with me. Together we can create a space where your truest self can be expressed fully. I am there to guide you, but you are the best person to move and breath and laugh as you organically do.
